  • What causes cavities?

Cavities are caused by bacteria in your mouth that builds up between brushing. The acid created from these bacteria creates a hole in your tooth, which we all now know as a cavity.

  • How do I prevent cavities from happening?

Cavities can be prevented by following good brushing and flossing habits. Limiting your sugar intake will greatly lower your chances of hearing that you have a cavity at your next visit. One simple way to prevent cavities is to drink more water and chewing sugarless gum. Our staff is very highly trained in helping you create good habits so that you may prevent cavities.

  • What is gingivitis?

Gingivitis is more or less inflammation of your gums. It is caused by plaque collecting along your gum line and causing swelling and irritation. It is the first stage of periodontal disease and if caught early, can easily be reversed. Making a visit to the dentist every 6 months will keep your gums and smile happy!

  • What age should my child be seen by a dentist?

We would be more than happy to see your child as early as age 3. We encourage parents to bring their child in for a “fun” visit so that they can become familiar with the dental chair and our staff.

I had to have a decaying infected tooth pulled due to risks of complications and further infections. The entire experience was completely stress and pain free from anestetic injection, tooth extraction and recovery. I had absolutely no swelling or pain after the anestetic wore off. Hope I don't have to have anymore teeth pulled, but if I do I would certainly come back.

Yes... a new beautiful mouth and I have ABG Dental to thank! Through the weeks of getting my mouth ready to the final crowns, the whole team did a very professional/personal job of keeping me informed and most I'm relaxed and comfortable!
A big thank you to the whole staff!
